Aztec Ruins National Monument (www.nps.gov/azru)
in New Mexico has an interesting summer opportunity perfect for an energetic volunteer(s)
with a RV interested in sharing the story of the ancient Southwest with people from around
the world. The volunteer will greet people at a visitor center, rove a massive 900-year
Chacoan ancestral Pueblo "great house" ruin, and educate folks about the rich
history of the site and nearby national park opportunities at the monument and at the
Desert Rose RV Park. The volunteers will stay at the Desert Rose, and the park will pay
for the volunteers site and utilities, for 20-weeks, including travel expenses. For

Desert Haven Animal Refuge

"work campers" who assist with small construction projects, help care for
animals and work at the nearby thriftVolunteers are provided with a large parking space
for their RV. Spaces include full hook-ups with well water and 30/50 AMP power. work
camper program is active year-round. Participants must pay that portion of their utility
expenses that exceeds a weekly utility allowance of $12.50 (winter) or $15.00 (summer) .
Taos Valley RV Park & Campground
Experience Taos as members of the Taos Valley RV Park & Campground staff. We
employ work camper couples to help in all aspects of campground operation. You receive
your site, use of the laundry facilities, and a modest wage. Prospective staff members
should have good health (it's hard work!), an outgoing, friendly personality, a strong
sense of responsibility, an ability to work harmoniously with others and a commitment to
