About Will and Alicia Smith, the Full-Time RVing Happy Vagabonds

VAGABOND - A person without a permanent home who moves from place to place.

From Will and Alicia Smith, HELLO to all our friends and visitors. We want to welcome you to experience the savory delights of the full-time RVing Vagabond Lifestyle from our perspective. Rather than putting a photo gallery here, you will find photos of a few of our travels scattered throughout this website.

We began our RV'ing journey on a clear, cool morning of July 12, 1993. Our first destination was Florida.

All of this and so much more at a cost of 13 years. Many people thought we were nuts to drive off into the sunset without a clue as to how we would provide for ourselves. No home, no retirement account accumulating, and no steady job.

No, it is not for everyone. No, it was not perfect. Yes, there was uncertainty, doubt, and plenty of fears. Having lived the dream, it was well worth the price for us.

What are we doing now? Well, we were thinking about settling down in southern Missouri and become part-time RV'ers. Well, we've changed our minds after setting in one place for awhile. After thirteen years on the road we thought we were ready to own a little piece of dirt to call our own. Looks like the feeling was misplaced because the itch to roam is back with a vengance. We may never settle down.

We haven't decided on when we'll hit the road again, but it will happen in the not too distant future. The RVing experience has added a feeling of completion to our lives. We don't have to wonder what is out there or what we may be missing.

We still love the "let's see where we wake up tomorrow" approach. RV'ing has given us the best of all worlds. We sincerely hope it can do the same for you.
